    Why you joined HuskyADAPT? Being a part of HuskyADAPT allows me to work alongside others to create new ways for kids to just be kids, exploring the world and all that it has in it.

    What do you look forward to this year? I'm looking forward to helping grow the design component of HuskyADAPT and learning new design skills alongside HuskyADAPT students and community members!

    Fun fact(s): I could drive a tractor before I could drive a car.

    Why did you join HuskyADAPT? I joined HuskyADAPT because I wanted to join a RSO that had goals aligned with my values. I wanted to join HuskyADAPT to become more involved in my community and the work towards goals of inclusivity and accessibility.

    What do you look forward to this year? I am looking forward to participating in toy workshops and with the children that the modified toys go to.

    Fun fact(s): I do nails professionally.

    Why you joined HuskyADAPT? I joined HuskyADAPT because I wanted to help build a future of engineering and design that prioritizes empathy, innovation, and accessibility. Being part of the team has allowed me to connect with many like-minded individuals who share my excitement for increasing accessibility within product design through creative problem-solving and technology.

    What do you look forward to this year? I’m looking forward to learning and working alongside the HuskyADAPT team and fostering more connections and communication within the broader community!

    Fun fact(s): I know how to count to 10 in 10 different languages!

    Why you joined HuskyADAPT? I love the inclusiveness of the HuskyADAPT community, where everyone can share their passion for accessibility coming from different backgrounds and majors. Additionally, I find adapting toys to be both fun and rewarding. I believe what we do at HuskyADAPT is so special, being able to learn every day and contribute back to the community :))

    What do you look forward to this year? I’m looking forward to meeting all of you guys and making the world a more accessible and inclusive place!

    Fun Fact(s): A fun fact is that I love yerb and I am a guayaki yerba mate ambassador! (you’ll probably see me carrying around a yerb)

    Why you joined HuskyAdapt? I joined HuskyADAPT because I was interested in creating accessible technology, and I wanted to work on projects that had a tangible impact on peoples' lives. I also wanted to be able to collaborate with people who had similar passions and interests as me in technology.

    What do you look forward to this year? I'm looking forward to growing the club and getting people more involved with accessible technologies! I'm also just very excited to meet all the new people who join the HuskyAdapt community.

    Why you joined HuskyADAPT? I joined HuskyADAPT because I saw it as a great opportunity to gain hands-on skills and create meaningful connections with people. I loved feeling the joy of helping make someone’s idea become a reality and continuing to make technology accessible to all. HuskyADAPT stands for such an amazing cause and the community within it embodies a 'sky's the limit' attitude.

    What do you look forward to this year? I'm looking forward to meeting new members of the community! I want to be able to create the same fun and exciting experience that I had when I joined. I'm also looking forward to engaging and coordinating events with my fellow executive chairs!

    Fun fact(s): I've traveled to 7 different countries (but have never been to Europe)!

    Why you joined HuskyADAPT? I joined HuskyADAPT because I am able to challenge myself to make a difference in improving universal accessibility and design. I enjoy the ability to connect and establish relations within the community and see the differences that are made with the work that we do.

    What do you look forward to this year? This year I look forward towards broadening knowledge and education about toy adaptations as well as meeting new people in the HuskyADAPT community!

    Fun fact(s): I have dual citizenship with Germany.

    I joined HuskyADAPT due to our shared values in improving the well-being of overlooked communities. Besides just the fun factor of the club, witnessing the community’s passion further inspired my involvement.

    What do you look forward to this year? I am excited to collaborate with amazing people and to inspire more people to make a difference in the world.

    Fun fact(s): I have figure-skated since kindergarten!

    Why you joined HuskyADAPT? I joined HuskyADAPT because I wanted to be able to gain hands-on skills while making technology more accessible. Knowing that the modified toys we design through HuskyADAPT are going to improve someone's user experience makes the process so much more rewarding.

    What do you look forward to this year? I am looking forward to making more connections within the HuskyADAPT community as well as gaining new skills. 

    Fun fact: I read the last page of every book before I start reading it.

    Why you joined HuskyADAPT? There are two things I enjoy doing, improving my own skills and contributing to the community I'm in. The talented and inclusive-minded engineers at HuskyADAPT offered me the opportunity to do both.

    What do you look forward to this year?I look forward to leading the Yellow Toy Club, running exciting adaptation activities with fellow toy adapters, and trying out new ideas!

    Fun fact(s): I learned the basics of oracle bone script, which was used for divination in Shang dynasty China. I have yet to find a suitable piece of ox scapula to give it a try.

    Why you joined HuskyADAPT? I joined HuskyADAPT because I wanted to gain hands-on experience and work with a community of like-minded engineers, all while making a difference in the field of accessible design.

    What do you look forward to this year? I'm most excited to be a part of the design program that produces such novel solutions every year and develop my skills by connecting with the interdisciplinary HuskyADAPT community.

    Fun Fact(s): I’m studying abroad in Japan this summer!

    Why you joined HuskyADAPT? I chose to join HuskyADAPT because I am interested in pursuing biomedical technology, mechatronics, or general medical instrumentation as a career!

    What do you look forward to this year? I'm looking forward to seeing how the projects unfold this year and hopefully see some larger events like the CADathon or design sprint again.

    What do you look forward to this year? I'm looking forward to connecting with students and helping to teach them about adaptive switches, toy adaptation, and more!

    Fun Fact(s): I love exploring Seattle-area bookstores - especially if they have cats and/or coffee :)

    I am looking forward to working with the HuskyADAPT team and to being able to extend the principles of accessible design in our community and beyond!
